I thought you might be interested in this, the glass delusion. I didn’t know about this when I wrote the novel, but one of the proofreaders at Henry Holt (the US publishers of The Girl with Glass Feet) picked up on it. There I am thinking I’ve been reasonably original, when along comes King Charles VI to rain on my parade from six hundred years ago. Still, it’s quite fascinating, and the story in the Wikipedia entry about the doctor’s thrashing made me laugh.
In other news, an interview I did a little while ago with The Oxford Times is now online, accompanied by a photograph in which I look a good deal more fresh-faced than the last time I checked myself in the mirror! You can read it here.
